Flederhund [2014] is an interactive storybook for children created collaboratively with artist and animator Heather Freeman (my beautiful wife).

In Flederhund, a young boy goes off to Europe but quickly finds he misses his beloved pet dog. The dog also feels the loss and heads to Europe in search of the boy. Most of the photographs used in this story were taken in Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Poland as Jeff and Heather traveled across Europe with their son Quinn on a teaching adventure. Barley the dog did not get a chance to visit Europe, so she was added digitally upon our return.
