Bible Stories [ 1995 - 2000 ]These digital 2D works illustrate an inability to believe in spiritual absolutes. Through the process of combining appropriated images with studio set ups, I hoped to refashion the ideology I was presented as a youth, an ideology based in the Bible's stories. In the end, the images inspired from these stories are apocalyptic and cynical, derived from the nature of perpetual disbelief.

Media: The works in this series were printed primarilty on archival canvas. However, the works created from scanned x-rays were printed on clear transparency and mounted to custom light boxes. The light boxes were initially presented in the inaugural New Frontiers exhibition at the Mint Museum in Charlotte, NC.
